The Rough Draft

If you can't go through it. Go around it.

Winter always feels like black and white to me.  Maybe it’s the declining sunlight, maybe it’s the shorter days but I find myself shooting much more monochromatic stuff after the Fall leaves have dropped.

It could also be the way we shutter ourselves up after the fun season in the sun has ended.  For me it’s the ritual of putting the bike up and getting it ready for it’s five month hibernation.

The winter storms start to roll in and the first flakes of snow start to fall to earth.  Maybe they don’t hang around but they’re harbingers of the message, “We’re going to be back and we’ll be bringing many friends.

I’m currently looking for some good urban exploration sites in Toronto right now or at the very least sites that show lots of urban decay.  If anybody has any places they know of, drop me a line.
